Default Connection Filters help your team focus on the most relevant introduction paths by setting predefined criteria. Instead of manually applying filters every time, you can configure default values once, so everyone sees consistent, high-quality recommendations from the start.

Set up default connection filters

Step 1: Log in to Vieu

Step 2: Go to Settings

Go to Settings

Step 3: Open Connections

Click on Connections

Step 4: Configure default filters

Set the default values that should apply across Connections Vieu, here's how :

Filter fields

Indirect Paths

Includes paths where the introducer is not directly connected to the target but can still facilitate an introduction.

Insider Paths

Shows paths from people closely associated with the account (for example: employees, ex-employees, investors).

Path Type

Choose which types of paths should be visible by default:

Direct
Indirect
Insider

Connection Strength

Filters connections based on the strength of the relationship between the introducer and the target.

Buyer Persona Alignment

Prioritizes connections that match your defined buyer persona.

Seniority

Filters targets based on seniority level (for example: Director, VP, CXO).
