Understanding the Introductions Vieu Interface
Introductions Vieu is where every pinned or requested introduction comes together.
It gives you a single place to track progress, manage priorities, and move executive introductions forward without losing context.
Whenever you:
• Pin an introduction path in Connections Vieu
• Request an introduction from a connector
the introduction automatically appears in Introductions Vieu, ready to be managed.
This page helps you answer one simple question quickly:
What introductions are moving forward, and which ones need action?
1. How to access Introductions Vieu
Log in to Vieu and navigate to Introductions Vieu from the main menu.
Or jump directly to it using this link.
Below is a breakdown of everything you see in the Introductions Vieu screen.
2. Top Navigation and Controls
At the top of the screen you’ll find controls that help you organize, view, and manage introductions across accounts.
Filters
As the number of introductions grows, filters help you quickly narrow down the list.
At the top of the page, you’ll see several filter options.

Available filters include:
1. Target - Use this filter when you want to find introductions to a specific executive.
2. Point of contact - Filter by the person who will make the introduction.
3. Cohorts - View introductions across a predefined list of accounts.
4. Account - Focus on introductions related to a specific company.
5. Status - Filter introductions based on their progress.
For example:
-
Not started
-
In progress
-
Completed
-
Parked
6. Priority - Focus on introductions that are high, medium, or low priority.
Once applied, the selected filters appear directly below the filter bar so you can quickly see what criteria are active.
2. Customize How Introductions Are Displayed
Next to the filters, you’ll see the Group by dropdown and the view options. These controls help you change how introductions are organized on the page.
Use Group by to arrange introductions by Account, Status, Introducer, Priority, or Last updated, depending on what you want to review. Filters narrow the list, while grouping changes how those introductions are structured.
You can also switch between three views:
-
List view – Shows each introduction as a row with full details. Best for day-to-day tracking and updates.
-
Pivot view – Groups introductions by fields like status or priority to help spot patterns or bottlenecks.
-
Dashboard view – Provides a high-level snapshot of introductions and overall progress.

You can switch between views anytime without losing context.
Filters help narrow the list, while grouping or listing views simply changes how those introductions are arranged on the page. This is particularly useful when planning outreach to a strategic account.
3. Review Introduction Paths and Manage Intros
Each row shows the introduction path between a connector and a target executive.
For example:
Connector → Target
This helps you quickly understand who can introduce you to whom.
Each profile shows:
-
Name
-
Role and company
-
Email and LinkedIn shortcuts
This allows you to review the relationship path before requesting the introduction. This helps you quickly understand the relationship path before requesting the introduction.
Alongside the introduction path, you’ll also see Priority and Status controls to track progress.
Priority indicates how important the introduction is (High, Medium, Low), helping you focus on introductions tied to active deals.
Status shows where the introduction stands, such as:
-
Not started
-
In progress
-
Completed
-
Parked
Both fields can be updated directly from the list without leaving the page, and the last updated date shows when the status was last changed.

4. Review the Introduction Summary
The Introduction Summary explains why the introduction matters.
It typically includes:
-
Target title - The role of the executive you want to reach.
-
Why this target - Context explaining why the introduction is valuable and how the person influences decisions.
This helps connectors understand more context about the relationship.
5. Generate the Introduction Email
If an email draft isn’t available, click Generate email copy.
Vieu will automatically create a suggested introduction message that you can edit before sending. This makes it easy to send clear, forwardable introduction requests.

Introductions appear here when you pin an introduction path or request an introduction in Connections Vieu. If you're looking to discover and pin connection paths first, read Finding Connections in Vieu | Overview.
