Use the Vieu Chrome Extension with Your CRM

The Vieu Chrome Extension brings Vieu's relationship intelligence directly into Salesforce and HubSpot, so you can discover warm introduction paths without leaving your CRM.

Whether you're researching an account or reviewing a contact, the extension helps you identify the best path into your target and continue your outreach from where you already work.

With the extension, you can:

  • Discover warm introduction paths from Account and Contact records
  • Understand who can introduce you and how they're connected
  • Filter connections to identify the best path into an account
  • Pin connections to revisit later in Vieu
  • Open the full Account or Profile view in Vieu for deeper research

The CRM view requires a one-time integration setup by your admin. Until the integration is set up, the extension won't show anything inside your CRM even if it's installed and you're logged in.

1. One you have intalled the Vieu Chrom Extension, log in to Salesforce or HubSpot. 

2. Then navigate to the Contacts or Companies you want to research.

If you see the Vieu logo in the bottom-right corner of your CRM, the Vieu Chrome Extension is active.

If you've just installed the extension, you may be prompted to sign in to your Vieu account. Your CRM login and your Vieu login are separate, so signing in to Salesforce or HubSpot doesn't automatically sign you in to Vieu. Once you've signed in, you're ready to start viewing relationship intelligence from your CRM.

HubSpot: Contact

When you open a Contact record, the extension shows the available warm introduction paths to that person.

HubSpot: Company

When you open a Company record, the extension shows the strongest warm introduction paths into that company.

Salesforce: Account

When you open an Account record, the extension shows the strongest warm introduction paths into that account.

S-Company

Salesforce: Contact

When you open a Contact record, the extension shows the available warm introduction paths to that person.

S- Profile

Review the available connections and use the View Score, Connection Strength, or Buyer Persona filters to identify the best path.

  • Open any connection to:
    • Understand the relationship
    • Message the introducer
    • Pin the connection to save it for later
  • For deeper research, click Open in Vieu to view the complete account or profile.
Filters Explained

All filters are available in the extension panel.

  • View Score: A combined score made up of buyer persona fit and connection strength, meant to surface the "best overall" connections. It can occasionally look off on accounts with many connections, since the score is averaged across people — use it as a starting point rather than a guarantee of the single strongest path in.
  • Connection Strength: Reflects how strong the relationship is — factors like social overlap, work history, and frequency of interaction. Best for finding your closest personal connections.
  • Buyer Persona: Reflects how well a person matches your ideal customer profile (title, seniority, function), independent of how strong your connection to them is. Best for narrowing to the right person, even if you don't know them well.
